We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2024, Mary E. Austin of Syracuse, New York, born in Opelika, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Leetha Mary Jones and Elder Jimmy Wilson; her son Leonard Wilson; her grandson Michael Wilson; and her mother Roena Beasley.

She is survived by: her siblings, Wyreen Jones of Rochester, Roosevelt Henderson (Nellie P.) of Alabama, Rosie Mae Moore of Florida, Frank Gilmore (Christine) of Syracuse and Nellie Jean Gilmore of Georgia; her husband Richard Austin; her children, Ricky Austin, Wilmarene Bradford and Nicola "Nicky" Austin; and her grandchildren, Angela Wilson, Ishmael Wilson, Franklin Wilson, Rashad Brown, Henry Bradford, III, Frencheska Bradford, Latwanika Rhodes, Marico Wilson and Alisten Austin. She is also survived by her family and friends.
