It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann O'Connor Moore (Syracuse, New York), who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill O'Connor and Rosalind O'Connor (McPeak); her in-laws, Genevieve Moore, Betty, Walter Furner, June, Leo Sherry (Bud), Dave Jacuk and Ralph Moore; her cousin Mary Beth Abbott; her nephews, David Jacuk, Gary Furner and Bob Sherry; and her niece Mary Beth Moore Barrett.
She is survived by: her sisters, Nancy O'Connor Jacuk, Rita O'Connor Baker and Irish; her spouse Thomas Francis Moore; her daughter Mary; her brother Tommy; her children, Colleen Moore Enright (Mark), Daniel Moore (Cathy), Kathleen Moore Giehl (Gary), Kevin Moore, Patrick Moore (Lynn) and Sheila Moore Valentino (Joe); her grandchildren, Molly (Chris), Brendan (Siobhan), Connor, Cayla (Jack), Jack, Ryenn, Patrick, Emma, Sean, Kyle, Alex, Genevieve, Norah, Thomas and Ellie; her great grandchild William; and her brother-in-law Peter.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Mary Ann would ask that we simply be kind to each other, recognize the beauty in our differences, and maybe help someone less fortunate. For those who still feel compelled to make a donation, please consider St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of our Tommy.
