Marie Ferland-Vlassis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Ferland-Vlassis (Syracuse, New York), who passed away on April 14, 2022 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, Judith Lorraine Chausse and Louis Jacob Michalski, Jr.; her adoptive father Maurice (Ann Ferland); her husband Dean; and her children, Adam and Marlee. She is also survived by her mother, siblings, husband, children, nieces and nephews.

Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to In My Father's Kitchen.

“Marie, we were friends and more back in the day. The rock n roll clubs. The two of us at OCC. Tearing it up in the fun years when we were young. I loved you back then and still do. Only found out you have gone now in November of 23. And my tears fall. And fall. But my thoughts and memories of you are sweet. Kind. Loving. Funny. And I am happy you had a great life and family after we parted. May our Lord hold you. And may you see me again when I cross that river where you are. I know you will.”
