With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie D. Christie of Syracuse, New York, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on October 9, 2022 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Annie Mae; and her great-nephew Dunier Chestnut. She is survived by: her children, Valestine Lee (Joseph D.), Gregory Davis, David Shaw, II, Mariesha Shaw and Khalid Shaw; the father of her children David Shaw; her pet Brown; her siblings, Elizabeth Hardy, Michael Christie, Daphne Christie, Michael "Peanut" Christie and Felicia Shaw; and her grandchildren, Nehemiah Davis, Nazae Davis, Cameron Davis, Rakeem Bowens, Jr., Ra'Mari Bowens and David Shaw, III. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
