She was predeceased by: her parents, Anne T. Hayes and Donald F. Hayes. She is survived by: her husband Jim Sherwood; her children, Matthew Sherwood (Leanne), Ann Sherwood and Katherine Pare (Brian); and her grandchildren, Olivia, Hannah, Daniel Sherwood and Eliza Pare.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Center for breast cancer research, or the Rescue Mission of Syracuse.
