With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maravene E. Marion in Syracuse, New York, born in Cazenovia, New York, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Gregg and Nelda Gregg; her brother Robert Gregg; her children, John Marion (Eddie) and Suzie Marion; her son-in-law Robert Burns; and her granddaughter Heather Ross.
She is survived by: her children, Katherine Burns of Cazenovia, Patricia Marion (Stone) of Fayetteville, Julia Marion of Cortland and Robert Marion of Cazenovia; her grandchildren, Lindsey Ross (Eric), Derek Rasmussen, Michael Ross (Caroline) and Graham Ross; her daughter-in-law Joanne Marion; her sister-in-law Sally Gregg; her siblings, John Gregg (Heidi) and Debbie Johnson (Dave); and her child Maravene. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint James Roman Catholic Church (6 Green St, Cazenovia, NY 13035).
