It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lydia M. Snell of Syracuse, New York, born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on March 3, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Edmonds and Ethel Edmonds; her husband George L. Snell of Syracuse; her sister Jane W. Edmonds; her children, John D. Kellogg III and Linda L. Lewis; her stepson James P. Snell; her son-in-law Dennis P. Kurtz; and her stepgrandchildren, Todd Schooley and Robyn R. Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan K. Kurtz of Milton, G. A. and Laura J. Kellogg (Richard Capobianco) of Rochester, N. Y.; her stepdaughter Sueann Accardi (Joseph) of Fort Walton Beach, FL.; her children-in-law, Ronald L. Lewis of Clay, N. Y. and Barbara J. Snell of Camillus, N. Y.; her grandchildren, William Johnston (Jennifer), Wendy Johnston-Waldrup (Michael), Heather Johnston (Chip Woodard), Jonathan Lewis (Jennifer), Douglas Bell (Kristin), Julie Ballerstein-Finer (Andrew) and Andrew Finer; and her stepgrandchildren, Gregory Snell (Sarah), Meghan Snell, Jennifer McCullough (Ken), Ricky Accardi (Lucy), Scott Accardi, Eric Accardi (Sloan) and Amy-Jo Clark (Ricky). She is also survived by 19 beautiful great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, Lydia's religious funeral service was delayed.
