He was predeceased by: his parents, Luigi Cannatá and Carmela Cannatá; his brother Domenico; his sister-in-law Jocelynne Cannatá; his parents-in-law, Francesco and Bianca D'Angelo; and his sister-in-law Rachel Calogero.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Maria D'Angelo Cannatá; his son Lou; his daughter-in-law Rosa Cannatá; his daughter Cristina; his son-in-law Steven Reed; his grandchildren, Giuliana, Anthony, Luigi, Katherine, Antonino, Benjamin and Amelia; and his siblings, Rocco (Vincenzina), Vincenzo (Marie), Mario (Christine), Nino Cannatá (Lili), Rosetta Bono (Pietro), Concettina Asciutto (Giulio), Franca Marra (Santino) and Mirella Manna (Enzo). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
