It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucy (Borelli) Borel of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Lucy leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Lucy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Borelli and Anella Borelli (Bagnuto); and her siblings, Anthony Borelli, Connie Burns and Joya Tucci.
She is survived by: her sons, Nicholas P. and James M. Vecchiarelli; her grandsons, James "J. R." Vecchiarelli, Jr. (Taylor) and Joseph Vecchiarelli; and her great grandchildren, Luca and Remi Vecchiarelli. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
