It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine J. (Smilgin) Spadaro of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on September 9, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Lorraine J. find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph; her children, Lee Anne Torrence and Michael; her parents, John Smilgin and Frances Smilgin; and her siblings, John Smilgin and Mary Johnson.
She is survived by: her son Ralph Jr. of Syracuse; and her granddaughters, Cara Springett (Nate) of Syracuse and Michelle Spadaro of Boston, MA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (127 Chapel Dr, Syracuse, NY 13219).
