He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gustav Runge and Eileen Pepper Runge; his friend Dr. Ellen FitzPatrick Runge; his wife Ellen Runge; his brother Edward Runge; his children, Christopher Runge (Susan), Timothy Runge (Shelagh) of Rochester, NY, Margaret Runge of San Francisco, CA and Anne Runge (Delian Naydenov) of Stamford, CT; and his grandchildren, Paul, Willa, Karl Runge of Rochester, John Woodward Runge, Theo and Nikolai Naydenov. He was also cherished by five nieces and nephews.
