With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Erkila of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on August 28, 2021 at the age of 68. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leonard Erkila to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his mother Goldie Erkila; his sister Anne Marie Reuss (Karl); his nieces, Kirsten Gaskin (Rick) and Kim Rielly (Todd); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael, Lauren, Stephen and Nicole.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the ADK or Roseamond Gifford Zoo would be appreciated.
