He was predeceased by: his girlfriend Betty Karker. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Smith and Tia Soliday (Larry); and his grandchildren, Courtney Smith, Steven Soliday (Kristen), Ryan Smith and Taylor VanSlyke (Cole).
