It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Porter Smith of Syracuse, New York, born in Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on December 30, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her children, Diane Bailey and Alvin Hollis. She is survived by: her children, Robert Lee Hollis, Brenda Hollis, Linda Chrisco (Frederick), Johnny Smith (Santressa), Adrianne Dunham and Randy Smith; and her siblings, Tullis Porter, Jr., Joanne Thomas, Robert Lynwood Porter and Eyvonne Porter-Hollis. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
