She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Blackshear and Mary Blackshear; her siblings, Hermie and Ralph Blackshear, Jr.; her nephew Roy Blackshear, Jr.; and her great grandchild Maleah Barkins.

She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie, Cynthia and Cassandra Bradford; and her siblings, Mary Ella Blackshear, Helen Marie Cullen (John) and Roy Blackshear, Sr. (Lorraine). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
