Indigenous Researchers wrote a sympathy message

“Lance Isaacs will be missed by the Tuscarora Nation of North Carolina. Lance was a full supporter of recognition for the NC Tuscarora. Lance came to the Nation in May of 2006 with a car-load of brothers and sisters of Six Nations to North Carolina and stayed for a while in Maxton, North Carolina while he was also the Master of Ceremonies for the Tuscarora Pow Wow in 2006.
