She is survived by: her siblings, Merrilyn Shanebrook (John), Linda Devine (Gerald), Marcia Hummell (James), Rupert Scharoun Jr. (Ann), Kay Scharoun (Michael Kane), Jeremy Scharoun (Marilyn) and Susan Scharoun (Susan Hynds); her goddaughter Elizabeth; and her nieces and nephews, Heather, Heidi, Johnny, Billy, Clayton, Phillip, Michael, Jimmy, Jaime, Kim, Rupert III, Andrew, Lisa, Benjamin, Ryan, Corey, Patrick, Christopher, Katie, Sara and Jeremy.
