He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Smith and Shirley Green Barr; and his brother Gary Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Walsh Smith; his children, Dylan M. Smith (Christina), Alec J. Smith (Isabella Scarpone), Amanda M. Smith (Michael Valentine) and Stephany L. Smith; his siblings, Debbie Culkin (Bruce Heaney), Frank Smith (Geneanne) and John Smith (Jenifer); his grandchildren, Madison, Devyn, Lillian, Elias, Logan and Luca; his stepfather Bill Barr; and his father-in-law Robert J.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
