He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Hofer and Charles Hofer; his brother Charles; and his niece Patty Pitcher. He is survived by: his brother Jim Hofer (Mary) of Cazenovia, NY; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Ellen Witchley, Bonnie Miller (Gordon), Charles Hofer (Kelly) and Brian Hofer (Becky).

Kent was a long time member of Liverpool Elks #2348 and VFW Post 951 if you care to make a donation in his memory.
