Karl R. Lutz Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2024, Karl R. Lutz of Syracuse, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Lutz and Irma Lutz; and his siblings, Luzia Muller, Louise Murphy, Ruth Rinefierd and George Lutz.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Francis; his children, Deborah Kotash (John Luke) of Syracuse, Karl Jr. (Janet) of North Syracuse and Kathleen Manzene (Phil) of Fayetteville; his sister Louise "Diane" Lutz-Zader of Tully; and his siblings-in-law, Kitty Verrette (Jack) of Liverpool, Joyce Prince of East Syracuse, Marlena Francis of San Diego, Elizabeth Francis of Fayetteville and Herman Rinefierd of Liverpool. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
