He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine Steeprock; his parents, Beatrice Steeprock and Harry Brooks; and his brother Ransom Potak. He is survived by: his children, Rhea (Andy), Belinda (Lonnie), Julian Jr. (Peg), Dorothy, Regina, Justina Hill (Bruce) and Sally (Shawn); his siblings, David "Pooch" Steeprock of Syracuse and Marcia Potak; and his son Jason Homer of California. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
