He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Marie Banick; his spouse Jean Spencer Hanyak; his children, Mary Johnson (Walter), Joseph Hanyak (Susan), Anne Gibaud (David), Christine Riccardi (Michael), Eugene Spencer (Adrianne), Susan Dischiave (David) and Deborah Tomushunas (Brant); his siblings, Francis Hanyak (Sandy), Robert Hanyak (Jeannine), Thomas Hanyak (Carol), James Hanyak (Janet), Raymond Hanyak (Gerry) and Patricia Crowe (Robert); and his brother-in-law Carl Banick. He was also cherished by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
