He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gryga and Petronella Gryga (Karczewski); his granddaughter Sarah Gryga; his brothers, Fred and Theodore Gryga; and his daughter Jeanette Bakowski-Astafan.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Gryga (Kim) and Karen McPeak (Steve); and his grandchildren, Peter Gryga (Blythe), David, Katy and Lizzy McPeak.
