The memory of Joseph A. Guinta Jr. of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on April 20, 2025 at the age of 68, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Guinta, and Donna Guinta, Sr. (Leamy); his brother Anthony Guinta; his aunt Patricia Leamy; and his son-in-law Matthew Caveny.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer St (Lewis), James Guinta (Tiffany) and Danielle Caveny; his siblings, Michael Guinta, John Guinta (Bonnie), David Guinta (Robin) and Denise Loerzel (Carl); his grandchildren, Cecelia Fantacone (Matthew), Anthony St (Emily), Lewis St (Emily), Savannah St (Ryan), Samantha and Isabelle Guinta; and his great grandchildren, Peyton and Anakin Fantacone. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Daniel's Church (3004 Court St, Syracuse, NY 13208).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joseph's name to the Lyncourt Fire Department, 2909 Court Street, Syracuse, NY 13208.
