It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Ziegler (Syracuse, New York), born in Utica, New York, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his friend Rev. Charles Major. He is survived by: his significant other David Travers; his stepdaughter Brookie Currin (John); his sister Kathleen Northrup; his niece Dr. Nichole Northrup-Kent (Marc); his nephew Kennith Paul Northrup (Terri); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexandra, Emma, Natalie, Joseph Northrup and Jack Kent.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Church to support activities in service to the vulnerable members of the Syracuse community.
