We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2023, at the age of 102, John Robert Metz Sr. formerly of Syracuse, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jane Ryan Metz; his children, Marilyn Skopek (John) of Dewitt, NY, John (Julie Davis) of Chevy Chase, MD and Michael (Elizabeth) of Castle Pines, CO; his grandchildren, Matthew, Jeffrey, Sarah Skopek, Robert, Patrick and Christopher Metz; and his nieces, Martha and Kathleen Wright. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
