It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Matott (Syracuse, New York), born in Oswego, New York, who passed away on August 20, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Matott and Edward Matott; and his siblings, George Matott and MaryEllen Tesoriero. He is survived by: his wife Edith (Killenbec); his children, Edward, Robert (Karen), Cathy (CJ), James (Sharon), Sue and MaryLu (Dee); his grandchildren, Craig, Jason, Molly (Taylor), Ben, Danielle, Sami and Shawn; and his siblings, Patricia Beshures, Frances Barry (Don) and Edward Matott (Kathy). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Daniel Church or Lyncourt Vol.
