With solemn reverence, we commemorate John L. Thornton of Syracuse, New York, whose life came to an end on August 31, 2024 at the age of 70, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glen Thornton and Helen Thornton; his sister Sandra Hough (Thomas); his nieces and nephews, Cassandra Lipin (Jonah), Meghan Sinclair (Randy), Gabriel Hough (Laura) and Benjamin Hough; his great-nephew Liam Hough; and his great-nieces, Sloane Lipin, Emmersyn Lipin and Quinn Hough.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butler Badman Funeral Home (4504 W Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, NY 13215). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Michael & St. Peter (4782 W Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, NY 13215).
