He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Carlyle (Merrigan) and Chester Carlyle; and his siblings, Michael and Mary Alice. He is survived by: his wife Joan (Gleeson); his sons, John Paul (Nichole) of Syracuse and Simon (Ashley) of Metairie; and his granddaughters, Meredith, Kathryn and Brynn. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
