Joann M. Newman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann M. Newman of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Farneti and Mary Farneti; and her brother Artie. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Newman; her son Terry Mcnerney Jr.; her sister Renee Hillegas; her grandsons, Zachary (Tiffany) and Patrick Mcnerney; her great grandchild Declan; her niece Liza Hillegas (Connor); her nephews, Mitchell Hillegas (Lauren) and Jeremy Burch; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Claire, Matthew and Chase.
Contributions may be made in Joann's honor to The National MS Society or Helping Hounds Dog Rescue in Syracuse, NY.
