It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan V. Headd of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Vieau and Dorothy Vieau; her husband Paul J. Headd; her daughter Catherine; and her brother-in-law George Fink.
She is survived by: her children, Larry, Martin, Peter (Denise), Mark (Amy), Michael (Tanya), Betsy, Mary Jo Harmatuk (William) and Sara Fontana (Charles); her grandchildren, Katie Bazydlo (Owahn), Jack Harmatuk, Sarah Walker (Willie), Cristopher Certa, Clare Fontana, John-Paul Headd, Matthew Headd, Catherine Headd, Eleanor Headd and Paul Headd; and her sister Joyce Fink (George). She is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Most Holy Rosary Church (111 Roberts Ave, Syracuse, NY 13207). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
