She was predeceased by: her close friend Jean Abelson of Syracuse; her parents, Mary Trivison Signoski of Syracuse and Joseph Valerino of Lakeland; her sister Delores Vassallo (Valerino); her brother-in-law Patrick Vassallo of Dewitt; and her half-siblings, Mary Gargaro, Carmen and Joseph Valerino.

She is survived by: her goddaughter Deborah Esposito (Vassallo) of West Hollywood; her great-nephew Robert Esposito of San Francisco; her great-niece Leigh Esposito; and also Declan Brando Toal of Miami Beach.
