It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan C. Bretch of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on October 18, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roger J. Bretch; her parents, Jacob Bucher and Drothy Bucher (Boyle); and her sisters, Rita Shoecraft (Ronald) and Dorothy Grossi.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Farrell, John Zello, Theresa Kowalczuk (Steve Bisgrove) and James Bretch; her siblings, Andrea Guy and Robert "Bill" Bucher (Barbara); her grandchildren, Jennie Alessi (Luke), Ryan Farrell (Zack), Nicole McRobbie (Robert) and Alexa Kowalczuk; her great grandchildren, Owen Alessi, Genevieve Alessi, Penelope McRobbie and Annalynn McRobbie; and her brother-in-law Ramon Grossi.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Autism Speaks in Joan's memory.
