With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jo Ann Ritchie of Syracuse, New York, born in Utica, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 7, 2024 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her husband Harry; her son Thomas (Lisa); her parents, Dennis McCarthy and Doris McCarthy; her brothers, Jack McCarthy (Carol) and Edward McCarthy (Jean); and her brother-in-law Dick Lupia.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Ritchie (Melissa) and Mary Godin; her grandchildren, Jeff, Jack Ritchie, Nicole, Ryan Godin, Kyle and Samantha Updegrove; her great grandchild Elaina Louise Ritchie; and her sister Katherine Lupia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
