She was predeceased by: her father Jon Steward; her grandparents, Salvatore, Margaret DiMaria, Charles Jackson and Rose Steward; and her pets, Lexi, Ginger and Lily.
She is survived by: her husband Carmine Avella; her children, Salvatore Dahlin (Alexia), Christopher Dahlin (Karissa), Krystina Avella (Roger Robinson), Mario Avella and Michael Avella (Kristen); her mother Patricia Steward-Christodoulou (DiMaria); her stepfather Chris Christodoulou; her former husband Michael Dahlin; her grandchildren, Cruz, Mariana, Amara, Victoria, Korey, Joey, Kylee and Eli; her siblings, James Steward, Joseph Steward, Maggie Rossen (Matthew), Kate Lawson (Travis), Jon Steward, Jennie, Michael, Anthony and Chris Christodoulou (Michaela); her nieces and nephews, James, Jordan, Richie, Noah, Alexis, Aubrey, Xander Lawson and Rosalin Steward; and her pets, Giuseppe and Luigi.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Lucy's Church (432 Gifford St, Syracuse, NY 13204). An entombment was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (800 Grant Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13203).
