He was predeceased by: his wife Laura Ireland; his daughter Lana Ireland; his brother-in-law Jack E. Shinnick; his parents, J. H. Ireland and Helen Bartlett Ireland; and his siblings, Freddie Ireland and Jean Gean Staley.
He is survived by: his children, Laurette Ireland (Rory Carrigan) and Lawrence Ireland; and his sister-in-law Joan Shinnick. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several dear nieces and nephews.
