He is survived by: his wife Alix; his parents, Ronald Kowalczyk and Janet Kowalczyk; his brothers, Brian Kowalczyk (Wendy) and Michael Kowalczyk (Vanessa); and his brothers-in-law, Campbell Knox (Allyson), Ian Knox (Anna) and Colin Knox (Robin). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
