She was predeceased by: her daughters, Linda Cole and Peggy Edwards-Tarver; her grandson Leon Edwards; her parents, Thomas Edwards and Fannie Hamilton (Edwards); and her siblings, Robie Carr, Cleo McNair, Earl Edwards, Henry Edwards, Leroy Edwards and James Thomas Edwards.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tamara Scanes-Jenkins, Kianna Cole, Tavares Boone, Antwan Edwards and James Cole (Junior); her niece Brenda McCaster; her nephew Alonzo (Gina Carr); her great grandchildren, Kamaya Taylor, Zhaire Taylor, Kiki Cole, Zikeiya Edwards, Kearon Edwards, Shareef Edwards, Sabrina, Katrina, Jasmine and Mya Boone; and her godchildren, Danny and Tuttie Williams.
