James J. Mahshie Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James J. Mahshie (Syracuse, New York), who passed away on August 30, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Mahshie and Olga Mahshie; his wife Addie Mahshie (Jones); his siblings, Henry Mahshie, Helen Abdo, Edna Zeppetello and Hazel Conan; his children, Dr. James Mahshie of Washington, DC, Cindy Esber (David) of New Franklin and Deacon Robert Mahshie (Maggie) of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Jamie Mahshie, Samira, Aliah, Kailah Mahshie, Shahna (Brandon), Dr. Allahna, David and Zachary Esber; and his great grandchildren, Ryan and Eleanor Mahshie. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Elias Endowment Fund, 4988 Onondaga Road, Syracuse, NY 13215.
