He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Burton and Elizabeth Burton (Harrington); and his brothers, Tom and David Burton. He is survived by: his children, Raymond Burton (Cathy) of Liverpool, Carol Burton of Syracuse and James Burton Jr. of Chittenango; his brother Dennis Burton of Clifton Park; and his grandchildren, Saige and Shawn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
