He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Arena and Mary Josephine Arena (Di Cindio). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Arena (Fazio); his children, Mark Arena (Brenda), Lauri Gildemeyer (Mark) and James Joseph Arena; his grandchildren, Kimberly McPartland (Peter), Matthew Arena (Julianne), Jeffrey Gildemeyer, Michaela Gildemeyer, Chelsea Arena and Eric Arena; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Layla, Eli and Madelyn; and his brother Dominick Arena (Barbara). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished extended family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in James' memory may be made to the Our Lady of Pompei/ St. Peter Building Fund.
