We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2020, at the age of 58, Jack Mott (Syracuse, New York) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack Mott to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his mother Judith Ferguson (Neville). He is survived by: his wife Meredith G. Mott (Hannon); his children, Zachary Austin, Jacqueline Grace and Maclean John; his father John C Mott Sr. (Eleanora) of Fayetteville; his sisters, Jennifer Bromfield and Jane Perry (Gregory) of Manlius; and his stepsisters, Laurel, Penni Townley of Fayetteville and Many. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Johns Hopkins University Pancreatic Cancer Research, or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of CNY.

“Meredith, I don't think i ever met you but I knew Jack from working with him at Trader. I just learned of his passing and can't express the depth of my sadness at the news. Jack was one of the nicest, most thoughtful persons I've ever known. My son and his family live in Syracuse and on several visits to Syracuse, Jack and I planned to catch up but did only once years ago. I regret not seeing him recently. I knew Jack first from his days at Eagle Newspapers. He called on me at SU and it was always fun to see him walk in the door so we could discuss Syracuse, SU sports, advertising, and, of course, you. We even discussed his dad's banking career because my summer job in college was at Rome Trust! Stay strong!”
