He was predeceased by: his former wife Norma; his son Michael Getz; and his sister Carolyn. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Squairs Getz; his daughter Jackie Johnson (Jimmy); his sister Joan Powers; and his stepchildren, Debra Smith (Don), Arnold Squairs (Nancy), Mark Squairs (Mary), Bill Squairs (Felicia) and Linda Harke (Bob). He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
