We bid farewell to Isabella Turturo Smith of Syracuse, New York, born in Frankfort, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 4, 2024 at the age of 99. Isabella Turturo touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her former husband Paul Carlesimo; her husband James J. Smith; her siblings, Frank, Philip, James Turturo, Grace Borawski and Agnes Deliberto; and her daughter Elizabeth Carlesimo Torrone.
She is survived by: her children, Geraldine Campos (Albert) of Syracuse and Frank Carlesimo (Vincenza) of Ontario; and her half-brother David Turturo (Debbie) of Utica. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
