She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Julius Parks and Plummer Parks (Harris); her husband Albert L. Mills; her children, Barbara Johnson (Johnny) of Philadelphia, PA, LaVerne Edward (Larnell) of Chicago, Illinois. and Stephanie Threatte (Gregory) of Slingerlands, NY; and her sister Aira Taylor of Chicago, Illinois. She was also cherished by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
