She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Oke and Mable Oke (Thomas); her brother Hunter Oke (Sylvia); her sister-in-law Bea Pope; and her niece Karen Moores (Russell) of St John's Newfoundland.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Garcea (Rick) and Russell Jr. Carlson (Bridget); her grandchildren, Kelly Garcea (John Guidotti), RJ Garcea, Russell Carlson III (Lora) and Christopher Carlson; and her brother Charles Pope, Sr.. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
