He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Allen Calkins; and his son Paul Calkins. He is survived by: his children, Stacey Calkins (Sheryl Price), Tracy Ogletree (Wilson) and Connie Calkins; and his sister Ernestine Fillman. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
