She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Hudson (Norvel) and Willie James Johnson; her grandparents, Alma Norvel and Norman Norvel; her grandson Shonquell Brumfield; and her stepfather Odell Hudson Sr..
She is survived by: her husband Larry Dowdell of Syracuse; her children, Clifton Dowdell of Houston, TX, Bryant Dowdell of Staten Island, NY, Eve Dowdell of Syracuse, Jared Dowdell of Las Vegas and Travis Dowdell of Syracuse; and her siblings, Marilyn Black of Syracuse, Timothy Hudson, Helen Hudson, Odell Hudson Jr. of Syracuse, Lonnie Johnson (Dorothy) of Mississippi, Neresuia Johnson, Angela Finklea of Mississippi, Gisela Crawford (Anthony), Mary Rose Gershaw of Germany, Valerie Maddox (Clarence), Caroline Batson, Samantha Johnson, Princess Johnson and Mercedes "Lil Mama" of Mississippi. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Farone & Son INC Funeral Home (4899 W Taft Rd, Liverpool, NY 13088).
