It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregory Joel Scammell (Syracuse, New York), who passed away on May 28, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyndon Scammell and Janice Scammell (Squire); his brother Barry; his pets, Cody, Baron, Rachael, Ruth, Bob and Hoover; and his significant other Connie Pond.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Janice Scammell of Plymouth, Massachusetts; his nephews, Mark, Kevin and Douglas; his cousins, Jean McCarthy (Tyler) of LaFayette and Philip Reitano (Leilani) of Preble; and also, Dee Zajac (Dan), Laurie Ellsworth (Mark), Kim Carter (Robert) and Sheree Scrano.
They ask to consider memorial donations in Greg's name to: Your Local Boy Scouts, Animal Rescue, VFW, or Literacy Program.
