It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria E. Mims (Syracuse, New York), who passed away on December 15, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loretta Booker and Charlie Schaeffer; and her daughter Paula Mims. She is survived by: her children, Madeleine Schaeffer, Beverly Heath (Richard), Pamela Schaeffer of Virginia Beach, Patricia Levens of Atlanta, Susan Adams (Anthony), Cassandra Schaeffer, Jeffrey Mims, Gerald Mims of Leevs, Marcia Mims, Karen Ellerby and Darlene Mims; and her godson David Kithcart. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren.
